The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12×44 Scope is ideal for use at short distances, and fast-moving targets. It is a riflescope for heavy calibre rifles. This riflescope is a "Second Focal Plane" riflescope, which means that the reticle does not enlarge as you zoom in, it remains the same size. This is different with First Focal Plane riflescopes, with these, the size of the reticle changes as you zoom in. So the reticle gets bigger when you zoom in and smaller when you zoom out again. The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12×44 features a second focal plane V-Plex reticle (MOA). The V-plex reticle is the most popular, all-purpose hunting reticle which is suitable for a wide range of hunting applications.
