Description

The Vortex Crossfire II 2-7×32 is a Scout Scope rifle scope, this manifests itself in the eye relief to the scope. A regular rifle scope has an eye distance of about 8 to 9 centimetres, with the Scout scope this distance is 24 centimetres. This greater eye relief allows the Scout Scope to be mounted on the front of a Scout rifle. This allows you to keep both eyes on the target and still use a scope with a 2 to 7 magnification. You do this by focusing with both eyes, with one eye supported by the Scout Scope's magnification. It requires some practice but can greatly benefit you while shooting.

In a rifle scope with first focal plane, the size of the reticle changes as you zoom in. So the reticle becomes larger as you zoom in and smaller when you zoom out. With a Second Focal Plane scope, the reticle does not increase in size as you zoom in, it remains the same size. The Vortex Crossfire II 2-7×32 Scout Scope scope features a second focal plane V-plex reticle. The V-plex reticle is the most popular, all-purpose hunting reticle which is suitable for a wide range of hunting applications.
